The class was quite full when all the students in Finnish language and integration education had a shared introduction lessons.

The autumn semester in The Finnish Bible Institute started Tuesday 26th of August. First day was spent by introduction of the school, the courses, the teachers and the students. First Finnish language lessons will start Wednesday.

The number of the students is very large this semester. There are almost 30 students in the course "As a Christian in Finland" and more than 20 students in YKI-course. Even though the number of the students is very high, there are some places left in the courses.

Various mother tongues of the students written on the white board.

During the first lesson we listed the native languages or mother tongues of the whole class on white board and there were more than twenty of them. Our goal is that quite soon the common language of communication in the classroom will be Finnish.

Learning Finnish in a motivated and diverse class is a good opportunity.
