In the end of the year-long Finnish course we make presentations about important figures in Finnish history. Oral and written presentation are to test Finnish language skills as well as understanding the history of the country. This year Adnan, who has lived in Finland less than a year, made as a part of the presentation a short video on Elias Lönnrot. Near the end of the academic year we have the sping celebration that took place indoors this year due to rain.
Our Finnish language courses include also field trips to important places. Since trips are part of the course, they are free of charge. During the last week of the semester, we visited Ateneum, the Finnish National Gallery.

May is the last month in our studies. It includes public holidays, that are days off from school as well. May Day May 1st and Ascension Day, that is May 14 this year.
Part of our Finnish language and integration course are the studies of Finnish society and political system. As a part of that we visit the Parliament and during the visit we may ask questions from the people making the decisions.
