May Day and Ascension Day. Happy holidays!

We fly Finnish flag to celebrate May Day.

May is the last month for our Finnish language courses for spring semester. We will continue the studies until very end of the month, but naturally we follow public holidays that fall for May this year.

May Day (or vappu in Finnish) is celebrated May 1st. That is Finnish Labour Day and a day off from school as well. Happy May Day to all!

Second holiday that falls for May this year is the Ascension Day that is May 14 this year. Ascension day falls always for Thursday 40 days after Easter and commemorates the ascension of Jesus Christ to heaven. Blessed Ascension Day for all as well.
