If you are looking for intensive Finnish language courses or courses on June, there are organized two week-long courses in June in the Finnish Bible Institute (Suomen Raamattuopisto) in Kauniainen.

In autumn there are available “As a Christian in Finland”, a year-long course that does not require previous knowledge in Finnish language.

On Friday March 31, we celebrated the finishing of Spring 2023 YKI-training. The course lasted for three months. In the celebration we had speeches by principal Marja-Kaarina Marttila, by teachers and by students.

The environmental issues and recycling are part of the curriculum. This week, we learned Finnish vocabulary on environment, natural conservation, recycling and related topics.

Occasionally Finnish language studies have a brief break and we make some field trips in Helsinki, Espoo, Kauniainen and Vantaa.

While intensively learning Finnish language inside the class, it might be fun to have a short break.

The 40 days lent before Easter started by Shrove Tuesday (in Finnish: “laskiainen”) on 21 February.

On Wednesday 23 November the Finnish language courses YKI-training and As A Christian In Finland had a joined little Christmas celebration.

The aim of the Finnish language and integration courses is naturally to be able to continue studies or working life in Finland. Sometimes that might require new studies.
