Week number 8 (15.-19.2.) is winter or skiing holiday at schools in Southern Finland. In our courses YKI-training and As a Christian in Finland the week is not off, however, but a little bit shorter.
Finnish Bible Institute is now obtainable by car from Helsingintie 10, which is school address due to the construction work finishing.
On Thursday 13.1. the Finnish Bible Institute upheld its tradition of starting the spring semester off with what we’ve named “Hat day”. Students and teachers had taken their hats to tell their story.
Spring semester 2026 has started and YKI-training has 22 students.
New year and spring semester 2026 will start on Wednesday, January 7th since January 6th is Epiphany and a public holiday.
Our Finnish language and integration courses, as well as all our year long courses have Christmas holiday for the 20th of December until Epiphany at 6th of January. Merry Christmas and happy New Year 2026 to all!
Our traditional Porridge festival took place just before Christmas, Wednesday 17th of December.
Christmas is approaching and the celebrations began early for the Finnish course students. What better way to prepare for December and Christmas than bringing the Christmas spirit a little early?
Finnish Independence Day is 6th of December and it is a public holiday. At the Finnish Bible Institute, we celebrated the Independence Day on 5th of December.
