Our Finnish language YKI-group this spring was perhaps the biggest we have ever had. On Maundy Thursday we celebrated the end of course with flowers, certificates, coffee and cake.
Finnish Bible Institute has an Easter holiday from Good Friday to Easter Monday, so there is no teaching 3.-6.4. We wish the blessing of Christ for everyone.

40 days before Easter is Shrovetide that starts the lent before Easter. Shrovetide celebration in Finland involves pea soup, cream buns and outdoor activities.
Week number 8 (15.-19.2.) is winter or skiing holiday at schools in Southern Finland. In our courses YKI-training and As a Christian in Finland the week is not off, however, but a little bit shorter.

On Thursday 13.1. the Finnish Bible Institute upheld its tradition of starting the spring semester off with what we’ve named “Hat day”. Students and teachers had taken their hats to tell their story.
