We made a small field trip from Kauniainen to Helsinki by train and visited Finnish National Museum. Finnish history is a part of the Finnish language and integration course and it gives a good perspective to the counrty and its culture.
If you are looking for intensive Finnish language courses or courses on June, there are organized two week-long courses in June in the Finnish Bible Institute (Suomen Raamattuopisto) in Kauniainen.
In autumn there are available “As a Christian in Finland”, a year-long course that does not require previous knowledge in Finnish language.
On Friday March 31, we celebrated the finishing of Spring 2023 YKI-training. The course lasted for three months. In the celebration we had speeches by principal Marja-Kaarina Marttila, by teachers and by students.
The environmental issues and recycling are part of the curriculum. This week, we learned Finnish vocabulary on environment, natural conservation, recycling and related topics.
